MANAGER LOGON

(Don't bother trying unless we have given you a user name, password and PIN code)

If you don't know any thing about all this, read on...

For many years we have been displaying information about the community, businesses and facilities in Holywell-cum-Needingworth and over this time the site has become very popular but we had a problem and that was being able to keep all the information accurate and up-to-date.

If we could not manage with what we already had, it left little scope for us to add more!

The solution

What we are now doing is greatly expanding the amount of information being displayed but now we're going to let the committees, owners and managers add, amend and delete what they like - within reason!

Obviously this will not be open to every one, committee members, managers and owners of the businesses and facilities in Holywell-cum-Needingworth will need to apply for a user name, password and PIN to access their pages and that access will be via a secure area just like when you log onto your bank account.

Why should you do this?

Because this website probably gets a lot more visitors than yours!

and with the enhancements we are making that number is only going to rise further.

If you think your enterprise is "too big" and/or "you can manage on your own", or "you have already got your own website" I will not tell you how many phone calls and emails we get from the public asking for information regarding even the major retailers and venues in the town and they have all got their own websites too BUT THEY DON'T GET THE NUMBER OF INTERNET VISITORS WE DO!

Registered Users

We are creating FOUR different levels of registration; BRONZE, SILVER, GOLD and PLATINUM. The BRONZE membership will be FREE OF CHARGE being created for charitable or non-profit making organisations or for other organisations such as local clubs, groups and associations. (See note I)

Notes:

  1. This is the number of events that you may display in the Public Events Diary at any one time.
  2. This is the number of public locations within Huntingdonshire, that is shops, offices or other buildings, that you may create and control. You may enter address, contact details, a description of the location (not including individual products or services). You may also add Trading (Opening) Times for each of these locations and you may upload a fixed size image of each location. For example a hotel may have five or more locations with different trading conditions; a bar, a restaurant, fast food (bar meals), a function room and of course the hotel itself.
  3. This indicates the number of individual products and/or services that you may display on the website. Each one may have a Title, ID Code, Description, Price and Image. For example each product could be an item from the menu of your restaurant. The products and/or services can be divided into a set number of groups to match your departments or even the divisions of your menu.
  4. The Set Up Fee is charged in addition to the Annual Fee and is applicable only to new accounts or to reactivate lapsed accounts. The Set Up Fee will not be recharged annually to accounts that are renewed by either Standing Order or Direct Debit.

Conclusion

We think that this service will not only enhance this website but will provide the towns traders and facility managers with an opportunity to use the internet more effectively and gain access to our electronic visitors thereby enabling them to reach a bigger client base.
